A friendly guide to AI, for the rest of us
AIvelina exists for people who keep hearing that AI will change everything and mostly want to know what to cook tonight. We turn the useful parts into small, clear steps.
So, who is Velina?
Velina is our mascot — the small, round robot you see around the site. She is an illustration, not a chatbot: there is no AI built into AIvelina, and nothing here talks back.
She stands for the tone we want. Curious, calm, a little playful, and never making you feel behind. When a tip is signed “Velina’s tip”, it was written by our editors, in her voice.
The site is put together by a small editorial team who try every prompt at home before it is published: in real kitchens, with real inboxes and real budgets.

Where our guides get tested: ordinary kitchens, real inboxes, actual budgets.
What we care about
Human first
Every guide starts from a real, slightly annoying problem — not from a feature of some app.
Plain language
No jargon. If a sentence would confuse a friend who has never used AI, we rewrite it.
Honest about limits
AI gets things wrong. We tell you where to double-check and what never to paste into a chat.
